This week I ...

+can't stop thinking about how much I need (want) to purchase a sewing machine to make something like this. Of course, it would get used for so many more things too!

+might have decided on our wedding colors--marine, violet, and white, inspired by this photo.

+realized how behind I am on some scrapbook projects. I can't wait to spend Saturday being creative.

+am loving these little books by Marta and this journal by Amy Tangerine. It makes me want to wish I still had some kind of journal/diary I kept everyday (besides this blog).

+am disappointed that the flowers above do not look like the phot anymore. Some how in just 3 days, the petals have fallen off. I so wish I had a green thumb.

+am truly grateful for having a job. I work at a college and it's amazing how many people I talk to who don't have a job, income, or a support system.

+can't stop thinking about this guy singing these words:

+am loving that spring weather has come to Ohio!

+planted some pansies to spruce up the outside of our place. Purple and white ones.

+won't forget the story my sister told me about how she caught her grill on fire. Lol, too funny!! Again, I remember how much I miss college, well except for homework.

+am excited that my family is coming for Josh's RCIA ceremony tomorrow. I think it'll be a wonderful weekend.

This week I ...

• became engaged. I think this should be the only thing I remember from this week... It was a perfect day and I had no idea. Wow! I'm getting married!!!
• am grateful for all the wonderful friends and family I have.
• decided that Cold Stone Creamery is one of my favorite places in our city. And, if you ask them to sing to you, they will.
• am understanding more and more why people live on lots of land/property...they don't have any neighbors that stomp from room to room above them.

This week I ...

• smiled at how much fun Josh had at the high school fish fry last night. It is so wonderful to have someone who wants to share my beliefs and that also wants to travel this journey with me. I know it can't be easy deciding to become Catholic.
• am glad that I am now a subscriber to Studio Calico. I can't wait to get started. I think this will be a great way to see new products without spending a lot of extra money.
• decided that I found some new recipes from Pioneer Woman to make.
• have never slept so good in my whole life in my new bed. I could stay there all day and night.
• can't stop listening to this song on the radio...too bad I don't know who it is or the name of the song. Come to think of it, I can't think of any of the words. yuck.

• have been really trying to get organized in my office and it's slowly coming along.
• was so excited that I won a giveaway from CK--great magazine!
• bought two jars of marbles while antiquing in a new place and city. Oh, how fun they are! I can't wait to take some photos.
• realized how much better a manicure and pedicure can really make you feel. Thanks J for the lovely V-day gift!
• noticed a growing desire to create a layout like this, so I did. It turned out close to how I wanted.
• was happy to have a great conversation with my dear friend Amanda. I miss her lots.
• made plans to plan a weekend of Josh and Leslie--a small mini-break somewhere and sometime in April.
